Mission Statement

The American Legacy Foundation (Legacy) works to build a world where young people reject tobacco and anyone can quit. The foundation develops national programs that address the health effects of tobacco use through grants, youth activism, countermarketing and grass-roots marketing campaigns, as well as community outreach to populations disproportionately impacted by tobacco use.
