IRS FRESH START INITIATIVE

Struggling with Paying Your Taxes? Let IRS Help You Get a Fresh Start! The IRS has announced an initiative to help people get a fresh start with their tax liabilities. The initiative centers on changes to IRS collection practices that will lessen the negative impact on taxpayers. 


In addition, the IRS recently announced the expansion of the Fresh Start initiative by extending the terms in the Offer in Compromise (OIC) program to reach and assist extremely financially distressed taxpayers in clearing their tax problems.
