Chief Operating Officer

The Office of the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for ensuring effective stakeholder communication and administrative management.  The Office of the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for managing:
  • Office of Communications
  • Office of Legislative Affairs
  • Office of Administrative Management
  • Office of Workforce Development
  • Executive Secretary
  • ASPR Immediate Office Staff

As the focal point for external communications, the Office of the Chief Operating Officer is responsible for ensuring the effective management of public affairs, online governance, and strategic partnerships.  On behalf of the ASPR, the Office of the Chief Operating Officer also communicates with our partners in Congress, working closely with both the HHS Executive Secretariat and the HHS Office of Legislative Affairs.

To ensure the continued effective growth of ASPR as as world-class workforce, the Office of the Chief Operating Officer oversees Workforce Development, including Human Resources, Workforce Management, and Employee Development.
