    Conference Embargo Policy

    In the case of AIDS 2012, as with most scientific/medical conferences, all conference abstracts are released to delegates under a strict embargo policy. Read the embargo policy


    Conference Hubs

    Organize a conference hub in your region: submissions are open until 15 September 2012

    Providing a unique opportunity to build professional capacities among local stakeholders and strengthen the local HIV response, these "mini conferences" can be held by organizations active in the AIDS response. For more information on hubs, please visit www.aids2012.org/hubs.aspx.


    Travelling with Medications

    Before travelling to the AIDS 2012 Conference, read the "Guidelines for Attendees Travelling with Medications, including a Controlled Substance", if you are carrying medication.


    Community Involvement

    The International Council of AIDS Service Organizations (ICASO) has created an online Guide to Community Involvement in AIDS 2012 to facilitate participation in the AIDS 2012 programme.

    The entire AIDS 2012 programme is available online through the Programme-at-a-Glance (PAG). Links to abstracts, slide sets with audio, rapporteur reports and e-posters will be added as they are available. A PDF version of the PAG is avaiable here.

    AIDS 2012 Programme-at-a-Glance

    Rapporteurs Reports

    An international team of rapporteurs will prepare summaries of most conference sessions with major findings and themes. A daily report will be available on the website each evening (and the following morning in Spanish). Rapporteur summaries will be presented in: the five scientific tracks, Global Village, Youth Programme, Community Programme, and Leadership & Accountability Programme.

    Registration

    Pre-registration is closed. Registration will resume onsite in the registration area, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center (WCC) on Saturday, 21 July, 13:00.


    Affiliated Independent Events

    Other meetings, symposia, forums or events organized for conference delegates outside the conference venue by other organizations are referred to as Affiliated Independent Events.     Engagement Tours

    The Engagement Tours will provide delegates with unique learning experiences through interactive site visits to local community based organizations throughout Washington, DC. The goal is to exchange knowledge, best practices, successes, challenges, and innovative solutions through dialogue and hands-on activities. View the list of tours and the schedule
