FOIA Training Opportunities



Whether you are new to FOIA or an expert, training is a key part of staying on top of changes in the law and the Administration's policies.

Government Training Courses 

U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)

DOJ's Office of Information and Privacy (OIP), in conjunction with DOJ's Office of Legal Education (OLE), offers training in FOIA throughout the year. Check OLE's course calendar for details.

Office of Government Information Services (OGIS)

OGIS provides FOIA Dispute Resolution Skills Training. This training, which OGIS presents in collaboration with DOJ's OIP, provides principles and techniques to agency FOIA professionals to help prevent and resolve disputes in the FOIA process.
