The headquarters building of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is the Hubert H. Humphrey Building, located at the foot of Capitol Hill. The naming of the building in 1977 marked the first time that a federal building had been dedicated to a living person. Hubert Humphrey, who served as U.S. senator from Minnesota and Vice President of the United States, was born in 1911 and died in 1978.

  • Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation (ASL)

  • Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE)
  • Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health  (ASH)
  • Program Support Center (PSC)
