National HIV Testing Day (NHTD), June 27, is an annual observance to promote HIV testing. The National Association of People with AIDS (NAPWA) founded the day in 1995 and continues to be the lead for this observance.

This is a particularly important time for YOU to get involved! Take the Test, Take Control.

Webinar/Conference Call: On June 26, 2012, AIDS.gov hosted a webinar/conference call on "HIV Testing for an AIDS-Free Generation" for Federal staff, stakeholders, and for grantees who work with domestic HIV/AIDS programs. Learn more here.

Leading Health Indicators Webinar: Watch the Who’s Leading the Leading Health Indicators webinar (held June 21, 2012). HHS Dr. Koh announced new data on the percent of people living with HIV who are aware of their status. This event addressed reproductive and sexual health.
