Welcome to the Department of Labor's website for the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU). Our mission is to administer the Department of Labor's small business program in accordance with the Small Business Act. Our priority is to ensure that small businesses, including small disadvantaged businesses, woman owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and HUBZone certified businesses, have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in our work as prime contractors and subcontractors. OSDBU also serves as the Department's Ombudsman for small businesses under the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996 (SBREFA). The Department is committed to encouraging and assisting small businesses seeking contracts with the Department.
