Fiscal Year 2012 National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention Expansion Project

At the direction of President Obama, the Departments of Justice and Education launched the National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention to begin a national conversation concerning youth and gang violence, raise awareness and elevate the issue to national significance.

The Fiscal Year 2012 National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention Expansion Project will competitively select and fund as many as four new sites to join the forum’s participating localities of Boston, Chicago, Detroit, Memphis, TN, Salinas, CA, and San Jose, CA.
