NIA announces the reissuance of Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) that provides dissertation awards in all areas of research within NIA’s strategic priorities to increase diversity of the scientific research workforce engaged in research on aging and aging-related health conditions.

Scientific Review

The Scientific Review Branch (SRB) is responsible for the initial peer review of specific research applications assigned to NIA. These include contract proposals; applications for Centers, program projects, scientific meetings, and training and career development; and applications responding to requests for applications published by NIA.
