Litigation Release No. 19149 / March 21, 2005

SEC v. Norman P. Rounds, Civil Action No. 03-M-0303, United States District Court for the District of Colorado

Federal Court Issues Judgment Against Norman P. Rounds

The Securities and Exchange Commission (the "Commission") announced that on February 16, 2005, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado entered a Final Judgment As To Defendant Norman P. Rounds. The Judgment, entered with Rounds' consent, without admitting or denying the allegations of the Commission's complaint, permanently enjoins Rounds from violating Section 15(a)(1) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. It also orders Rounds to comply with a Commission order issued in 1996. That order barred Rounds in all capacities from association with any broker-dealer with a right to reapply to become so associated after one year.
