PLEASE NOTE: All VA New York Harbor Healthcare System outpatient clinics and community based outpatient clinics are open EXCEPT for those at the Manhattan VA Medical Center which remains closed.

Manhattan VA Medical Center Status Update
The Manhattan VA Medical Center remains closed. For information, please call the Veteran Information Line at 1-855-269-8338. If you have questions about an appointment, call Centralized Scheduling at 1-877-877-9267.

Inclement Weather in the Local Commuting Area
During severe weather conditions, hurricanes and large snowstorms, patients are encouraged to call their VA Medical Center or outpatient clinic to reschedule appointments if necessary. Patients will be informed of clinic closings and appointment rescheduling.

Parent Facility
VA New York Harbor Healthcare System: Limited Services - Due to Hurricane Sandy, VA New York Harbor Healthcare System's Manhattan hospital facility is closed. Please call the Veteran Information LIne at 1-855-269-8338 between 8 am and 4 pm if you have questions. Clinics and CBOCs at all NY Harbor campuses are open, except those located at the Manhattan VA.

Medical Centers
Brooklyn Campus: Normal Hours - The facility is operating normally.
Manhattan Campus: Closed - The Manhattan hospital facility was evacuated and remains closed in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Clinics at the facility remain closed. For information, call 1-855-269-8338.
St. Albans Community Living Center: Normal Hours - The facility is operating normally.

Outpatient Clinics
Chapel Street: Normal Hours - Normal operations.
Harlem: Normal Hours - Normal operations.
Manhattan Opiate Program: Closed - The clinic will remain closed. Please call 646-273-8100 for information on where to report.
Brooklyn Opiate Program: Normal Hours - Normal operations.
Queens: Normal Hours - Normal operations.
Staten Island: Normal Hours - Normal operations.
