 Tax Policy

The Office of Tax Policy develops and implements tax policies and programs, reviews regulations and rulings to administer the Internal Revenue Code, negotiates tax treaties, provides economic and legal policy analysis for domestic and international tax policy decisions, and provides estimates for the President's budget, fiscal policy decisions, and cash management decisions.

The Office of Tax Policy releases a wide variety of documents throughout the year, including press releases, tables, papers and reports.  Recent releases are available here.
 

General Explanation of the Administration’s Revenue Proposals (Green Book)  

Every February, Treasury releases the Treasury Green Book, which provides an explanation of the Administration's revenue proposals for the following Fiscal year.  Here you can find the Green Book for the current year and for past years going back to 1992.
