National Centers of Excellence in Women's Health

The National Centers of Excellence in Women's Health (CoE) were located in academic medical centers throughout the country. This program established new models of health care that combined health care services addressing women's health needs with gender-based research, public and professional education and training, the promotion of community linkages for improved access to health services and programs, and the provision of leadership positions for women in academic medicine.

Current as of May 2008
