• Sheridan Harvey. Women's Studies Specialist, Humanities and Social Sciences Division. Rosie the Riveter: Real Women Workers in World War II explores the evolution of "Rosie the Riveter" and discusses the lives of real women workers in World War II.
• Ann Hoog, Folklife Specialist, American Folklife Center, discussing After the Day of Infamy: 'Man-on-the-Street' Interviews Following the Attack on Pearl Harbor. The interviews, collected by folklorists in December 1941-February 1942, for what was then the Archive of American Folk Song, include reactions by "women on the street"

• Amy Shapiro discussing her biography of New Jersey Congresswoman Millicent Fenwick: "Her Way" (event date: April 1, 2003)
• Documentary editors Esther Katz, editor-in-chief of the Margaret Sanger Papers Project at New York University, and Mary Lynn McCree Bryan, editor-in-chief of the Jane Addams Papers Project at Duke University, discuss "Women's Activism and Social Change: Documenting the Lives of Margaret Sanger and Jane Addams". The program also includes opening remarks by John Cole, director of the Center for the Book, and an introduction by Janice E. Ruth, American women's history specialist, Library of Congress Manuscript Division (event date: March 24, 2003)
• Vice Admiral Patricia A. Tracey reading letters by women who have served in wartime from War Letters: Extraordinary Correspondence from American Wars (event date: May 1, 2002)
• Photo researchers and editors Kathleen Thompson and Hilary Mac Austin's illustrated talk about their book Children of the Depression, which features more than 160 black-and-white photographs from the Library's Farm Security Administration (FSA) Collection (event date: February 12, 2002)
