Mexican man pleads guilty and is sentenced for illegal reentry after prior deportation

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A Mexican man pleaded guilty to illegal reentry after having been already ordered deported on a prior occasion. He was then sentenced to time served and one year supervised release. This case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Lazaro Rosario-Ibarra, 26, of Mexico, was previously deported to Mexico after being found in the United States in 2008. On Aug. 24, 2011, the defendant was found living in Lockport, N.Y.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Marie P. Grisanti, Western District of New York.
