Careers with OJP

OJP hires for a variety of positions. Job vacancies are listed on the USAJobs web site. The areas of consideration for open announcements are:

  • Merit Promotion (JP-04-XXX-MP): Open to Status candidates and Veterans who either are preference eligibles or who have been separated from the armed forces under honorable conditions after 3 or more years of continuous active service. A Status candidate is someone who possesses civil service status that was obtained by serving under career-type appointment in the competitive service.
  • All Sources (JP-04-XXX-DEU): Open to all qualified US Citizens. This is the most common method of entry for new employees. See the USAJobs Resource Center for information on applying for federal jobs.

For more information regarding open jobs, call the Human Resources Division at 202-307-0730 (Relay Center 202-855-1000).
