GenerationOn, a project of the Points of Light Foundation, presents its "Action Heroes Needed" campaign for young volunteers ages 13 and older. Youth can choose a cause, take action and report back on the generationOn website. Youth who share their stories will be eligible to win $500 to continue the project. The Harris Wofford Youth Award will be given to a young person (ages 5-25) who is a legal resident of the United States and demonstrates exemplary commitment and action, involving his or her peers in service, youth voice, service learning or civic engagement. Nominees' activities can be local, state, national or international.
