NCFY Recommends: Stop Bullying Video Challenge

tags:

Seal of the United States Department of Education .With the start of the school year comes an opportunity for youth to showcase how they stand up to bullying--whether in the classroom or in their community.

The Stop Bullying Video Challenge, sponsored by the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention, encourages youth ages 13-18 to submit a short public service announcement showing how they promote kindness and respect in their daily lives. The winner and two runners-up will receive cash prizes and have their videos featured on www.stopbullying.gov.

PSAs must be 30 to 60 seconds long and send a positive message about being more than a bystander. Entries must be received or postmarked by October 14, 2012.

The public will be invited to vote on finalists' videos in early December, and the winners will be announced December 20.
