Secondary Student Programs

Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program
YES participants are high school students, ages 15-17, from countries with significant Muslim populations. They spend up to an academic year living with U.S. host families, learning about American society, acquiring leadership skills, and educating Americans about their countries and cultures.

American Serbia and Montenegro Youth Leadership Exchange (A-SMYLE)
A-SMYLE participants are high school students from Serbia and Montenegro who spend one academic year in the United States.

Congress–Bundestag Youth Exchange Program (CYBX)
CBYX high school participants are German students with a 3.0 GPA, between the ages of 15-18 who spend an academic year in the United States.

Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX)
In the FLEX program, high school students from Eurasia, ages 15-17, who attend a U.S. high school for an academic year.

German American Partnership Program
The German American Partnership Program supports partnerships and exchanges between high schools in the U.S. and schools in Germany.
