What is a Public Liaison? The Regional Public Liaison is a facilitator between citizens and EPA staff who can help solve problems and communication issues.
Do you need the Public Liaison? Have you had trouble getting your Superfund or hazardous waste facility questions answered? Have you tried to work through other channels at EPA and did not get anywhere? The Public Liaison may be able to work with you and EPA staff to resolve the problem.
How can the Public Liaison help you?
- Answering your questions in plain language and directing you to the right person at EPA.
- Helping you work through the legal and regulatory decision-making process.
- Facilitating discussions between you and the appropriate EPA staff to solve the problem.
- Working with EPA management on ways to reach a resolution.
