THE ARMY STANDS BY ITS FAMILIES.
The Army believes strongly in a commitment to family, so much so that a covenant between the Army and the families that support it has been created. It is a promise that is valued not just because of the respect that the Army has for families but also because of all that the Army has asked of them.
The pledge states simply: You are changing your life for the Army, so it seems that a bond should be formed that lets you know this is not a commitment taken lightly. The Army will look out for you, your soldier and your entire family. For we are all one family in the Army and should act accordingly.
