Transportation Audits
GSA and other agencies hire contractors to conduct prepayment audits of transportation services. Contractors provide these services on a cost-per-bill basis, depending on the transportation mode, and may provide audit management reports at additional cost. Transportation bills transmitted electronically are audited at a reduced price.
Agencies can also participate in GSA's Multiple Award Schedule for prepayment audit services to ensure that they are paying the lowest applicable rate for their transportation bills.
