The DMAP Team conducts multiple levels (6.2-6.4) of applied research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT & E) to support the advancement of geospatial information technology relevant to U.S. Naval operations, homeland security initiatives, and other national defense/public service missions. The team currently receives funding from a variety of sponsors including:

• The Oceanographer of the Navy (N84)
• Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command
• National Guard Bureau
• Office of Naval Research/NRL Base Research Program
• Naval Oceanographic Office
