The Subsistence Prime Vendor (SPV) contract is an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with an Economic Price Adjustment for diesel fuel.  The SPV includes all food and foodservice supplies except for fresh bread, fresh milk, and fresh produce for just-in-time deliveries to all VA Medical Centers and eligible OGAs.  The customer base represents 154 VA Medical Centers, 163 Veterans Canteen Service Operations, and 90 Other Government Agency facilities including Army and Navy hospitals, Indian Health Service facilities, and State Veterans Homes.  Sales under the contract are approximately $192 million annually.
