FY2013 Fiscal Operations Plan

October 1, 2012 -- March 27, 2013

The NIH will operate under a Continuing Resolution (H.J. Resolution 117), signed as Public Law 112-175. Government operations will continue at the FY2012 level plus 0.6 percent.

Until the FY2013 appropriations are enacted, NEI will issue non-competing research grant awards at a level generally up to 90% of the previously committed level on the most recent Notice of Award. Upward adjustments will be considered after the appropriations are enacted, but we expect institutions to monitor their expenditures carefully during this period.
