Amplifiers

UNICOR/FPI makes and supplies amplifiers for base camps, command centers and vehicles. Our amplifiers are produced to stringent military standards for environmental hardiness, with hermetic packaging and laser-welded housings. They are available in broadband and narrowband configurations, offer input/output power protection and have high efficiency ratings and low harmonic distortion.

UNICOR/FPI specializes in tactical VHF power amplifiers that amplify FM signals to provide a higher signal processing margin for voice, data and SATCOM communications. These amplifiers are compatible with SINCGARS radios and are in widespread use in military training and combat situations worldwide and federal agency operations in the U.S.

Antennas

UNICOR/FPI produces and distributes high-quality, reliable antenna systems engineered for optimum performance and low maintenance. We also are a major manufacturer and distributor of antennas for SINCGARS radios for tactical military federal agency operations.

The antennas that we produce are compact, easy-to-install and transportable. They feature high isolation between antenna elements, polarization and grounding. They are built for rugged environmental conditions, and meet rigorous military standards for rain, salt fog and dust, temperature, barometric pressure and humidity. Very importantly, our antennas are omni- directional, making them highly efficient and reliable for the transmission of ground-air-ground, command post and vehicular voice and data signals.

Loud Speakers & Control Units

The rugged outdoor speakers that UNICOR/FPI makes and distributes are in wide use on military bases and command posts worldwide as well as in federal agency field operations in the U.S. Our products can project clear speech communications in airborne, naval, mobile or fixed land-based systems. They are ideal for military, first responder, emergency management, border control, harbor patrol, search and rescue, crowd control and law enforcement activities.

UNICOR/FPI loud speakers and control units meet rigorous military specifications for environmental hardiness. They are available in a range of sizes for mounting on vehicles, carried in backpacks or used in public address systems.

Our loudspeakers and control units have remote control options and can be powered by battery pack, AC current and, with DC power converters, can run off vehicle power.

Radio Mounts

UNICOR/FPI is an important producer for radio mounts, especially those for the SINCGARS radio. We manufacture radio mounts for both vehicular and avionic use. Our mounts are in broad use in training and tactical military use as well as in emergency management and security operations.

UNICOR/FPI radio mounts provide a secure mounting location in tactical ground vehicles and aircraft, preventing damage to equipment from shock and vibration. The mounts have connection points for power and auxiliary equipment and also include connectors on top for easy access when changing cables or configurations.

UNICOR/FPI mounts can accommodate power amplifiers, transceivers, and one to two radios. They also are equipped with surge protection and a mounting adapter to convert the vehicle power supply to radio and amplifier operating voltages.

SINCGARS Radio Kits

The SINCGARS radio is the workhorse of modern battlefield communications. UNICOR/FPI is a major supplier of SINCGARS radios, mounts, antennas, and installation and repair kits. When hard-mounted, our SINCGARS equipment meets rigorous military standards for shock and vibration in aircraft and tactical vehicles, such as Bradleys and Humvees.

Through our nationwide network of factories and trained technicians, we have successfully met aggressive production and distribution needs for this crucial communication equipment in Middle East military operations.

To speed the upfitting of tactical vehicles, we provide SINCGARS radio installation kits that are designed for each major vehicle type. In addition, we supply every SINCGARS radio spare part, from fuses to power cables, and complete repair kits with all necessary tools and replacement parts to quickly return this vital equipment to operation.

Speaker Boxes

UNICOR/FPI produces and distributes speaker boxes approved for heavy-duty military, federal agency, law enforcement and emergency management use. Our rugged speaker boxes are available in many sizes, ranging from compact vehicle-mounted units to large speaker boxes for outdoor public address speakers.

UNICOR/FPI speaker boxes are specially designed for strenuous environments on aircraft, shipboard and tactical vehicles as well as mounted on poles and buildings at military and federal agency command posts.

Our speakers are in wide use in military and federal agency tactical vehicles, facilities and command posts.

UNICOR/FPI speakers are designed to handle many input sources, such as tactical microphones and headsets, powered cassettes, built-in voice recorders and sirens.

We are also a critical manufacturing and supply source for SINCGARS radio speakers and mounting kits, and are successfully providing accelerated production to support the Middle East war effort.

Our speakers have excellent sound quality and are extremely reliable and durable. They feature wide frequency response and sound dispersion, but are built tough to operate in a wide range of temperatures, humidity and altitudes.
