Power Distribution (PDICE)

UNICOR/FPI manufactures heavy-duty, end-to-end power distribution solutions for sensitive, mission-critical test systems, control equipment and electronic devices. We are a valuable resource for military, agency and OEM customers that have special requirements for power distribution and control.

Our power distribution units are available in one-phase or three-phase standard, modified standard and customized formats. Customers can select output receptacles, panels and uninterruptible power systems. They are available in a choice of electrical ratings, and include EMI/RFI filters, transient suppression and circuit breakers. Our power distribution units can be rack mounted.

UNICOR/FPI power distribution units provide multiple levels of power distribution for defense, avionics, communications and data centers. They are used to test flight and combat systems of military aircraft, to deliver reliable power to critical shipboard systems in a combat environment, and for command center and outpost communications.

Extension Cords

Our heavy-duty extension cords can be found worldwide, connecting equipment, lighting and communication systems to power sources in military facilities, on shipboard, for secure communications systems and to operate heavy equipment.

UNICOR/FPI extension cords come in virtually any length and incorporate any plug type, including NEMA, three-conductor, heavy duty and locking plugs as well as multiple plugs. We also produce extension cords that are polarized, UL and CSA approved and meet military specifications.

Surge Protectors

The system of lines and transformers that supply power to mission-critical equipment is very complex. Failures could occur at many different points, making surge protectors and power supplies vital to continued safe, reliable operation of electrical and electronic equipment.

UNICOR/FPI manufactures a wide range of surge protectors for AC ands DC power, data, RF and co-axial lines. Our surge protectors use a heavy-duty, multistage design that combines fast response time and high power handling capacity. They contribute to equipment life and eliminate many costly downtimes.

UNICOR/FPI surge protectors are available for single-phase and three-phase networks and have applications in protecting sensitive equipment from lightning strikes and electrical transients. Our surge suppressors are designed to protect instrumentation and control equipment, radio base stations and wireless and telemetry systems. UNICOR/FPI surge protectors automatically reset after each surge, making them maintenance free.
