Free Educational Materials for Veterans
The Center on Advice and Compliance Help (COACH) offers free educational materials to help assure that veterans receive adequate information when considering participation in VA research.
NOTE: Before handing out the brochures at your local VA medical facility, please personalize them by inserting local contact information, such as the Administrative Officer's contact information. It is also acceptable for investigators performing their outreach responsibilities per VHA Handbook 1200.05 to personalize the brochure with study-specific information, to include a study team point of contact or a central call-in number, when giving brochures to potential study participants. The contact information should be placed on the back of the brochure. This can be done by having the information printed directly on the back of the brochure, printing a mailing label and applying it over the COACH identity, or a personalized stamp can be used on a mailing label applied over the COACH identity.
