In addition, NARA documents are being scanned and indexed by private organizations in record numbers. Come find out how to access these wonderful resources, including an update of the new indexes for the 1940 US census!

* Our convenient facility can accommodate groups between 8 and 40 adults.
* Appointments for your group must be made in advance and the workshop must take place during our regular office hours, between 7:45 AM and 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday, or the second Saturday of each month between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.[except Federal holidays]. Free. For reservations and available dates and times, please call 206-336-5115 or 206-336-5151
* Smaller group workshops will be opened up to the general public. (Watch this page for announcements.)

Cost: Most workshops listed on this page are free of charge unless otherwise indicated. All suggested donations, if requested, are payable by cash or check at the door. Ample free parking is provided.

Location: NARA-Pacific Alaska Region, 6125 Sand Point Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115. Classes are held either in the upstairs Conference Room or our new Learning Center.

Registration: Advance registration is advised. Classes are held on a first come, first served basis. To register, call 206-336-5115, or e-mail: seattle.archives@nara.gov, or in person during normal business hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Cancellation policy: We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or adverse weather.
