As part of its ongoing commitment to serve the American public through the regulation of the alcohol, tobacco, and firearms/ammunition industries, TTB maintains and oversees thorough application processes as prescribed by law. The steps of the application process for each regulated industry help to ensure that those who work in them are duly qualified, and will conduct their operations fairly and legally. 	Wine Industry You must submit an application and receive approval from TTB before engaging in most businesses to produce or sell wine products. After you submit your application, we will determine your eligibility. If you are found to be eligible, TTB will authorize you to start wine operations. Read more.
	Distilled Spirits Industry You must submit an application and receive approval from TTB before engaging in most businesses to produce, process or sell distilled spirits. After you submit your application, we will determine your eligibility. If you are found to be eligible, TTB will authorize you to start distilled spirits operations. Read more.
	Brewing Industry You must submit an application and receive approval from TTB before engaging in brewing operations. After you submit your Brewer’s Notice and required supporting documents, we will determine your eligibility. If you are found to be eligible, TTB will authorize you to start brewery operations.
