    • To MS. GLORIA MARCH, who posted earlier about a robbery and vandalization of her HUD apartment, and whose post I can't find: I've had problems with my building manager, too, and although registering a complaint there is probably a good thing to do, this is a CRIME, and you should have reported it to the police immediately. The people where I live keep coming in my apartment and moving things, sometimes when I'm there, sometimes when I'm asleep, and sometimes when I'm in the bathroom taking a shower. I finally reported it to the police. They sent an officer over, and he not only interviewed me, but also the building manager. The manager made a lot of threats against me, but she quit allowing people to just walk in to my apartment. Having to be interviewed by the police just may adjust the building manager's attitude, and, even better, the police may actually do something to help find your stolen property. What my apartment manager was doing to all the residents as a matter of course is NOT ALLOWED according to HUD rules, but HUD doesn't enforce their rules, so building managers feel they can do anything. Shame on you, HUD! When I discussed the problem with HUD, they said if I made a complaint, they would not do anything to help me, they would just tell the building manager that I had complained against her bullying and mistreating the residents, as though that would do anything but make the problem worse.
