Description

In this fourth installment of our API webinar series, the focus will shift from agency case studies to a review of the common concerns agencies have as use of APIs in government becomes more widespread. Experts from FCC and GSA, along with one of the Presidential Innovation Fellows, will explain how to understand, plan for, and easily address the contracting, legal, and security concerns with APIs. They will also demonstrate how the existing structures agencies already have in place are capable of supporting API production. This webinar will be moderated by Gray Brooks, Senior API Strategist, at GSA's Digital Services Innovation Center.

What You'll Learn

This webinar will teach you how to:

  • Successfully procure API–first projects
  • Adjust existing contracts to better focus them on API work
  • Address common legal questions
  • Address recurring API security concerns
