Forecast Discussion: Tue : Low pressure near Ste Sault Marie Michigan has brought strong winds, cold temperatures, snow flurries and good PM2.5 readings to the Midwest. This low will move off to the east as a strong ridge builds over the plains states then to the Great Lakes by Thursday. A low currently in Oregon will move through the four corner state and is forecast to emerge in the Texas panhandle by Thursday morning. Stronger winds return on Thursday when central Indiana should receive sleet or snow while southern Indiana and Kentucky should receive mostly rain. Warmer air over-runs the colder air Thursday and finally reaches the surface Friday.
