To improve the health status and wellbeing of Native Hawaiians and others by advocating for, initiating and maintaining culturally appropriate strategic actions aimed at improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of Native Hawaiians and their ‘ohana (families) and empowering them to determine their own destinies.
Veterans Outreach Project & Native Hawaiian Veteran’s Project
This project focuses on helping the veteran navigate the Veterans Health Administration/Veterans Benefits Administration (VHA/VBA) application process, responding to individual issues and concerns, doing briefings and presentations on the Project to retired as well as active military personnel and advocating for the veterans at the local, state and national levels.
