WFAD Activists Mobilize Across the Globe!
 October 2nd marked the culmination of World Farm Animals Day (WFAD), an annual day of action to memorialize and expose the unnecessary suffering and death of over 65 billion animals each year.
This year's oberservances ranged from dramatic slaughter house vigils in California and "human branding" street theater in Israel to friendly leafleting and video screenings in college campuses across the US.

FARM Releases Powerful 10 Billion Lives Video
 In August, at AR2012, FARM debuted a powerful new video "10 Billion Lives." The video notes the individual worth of farmed animals and documents the horrors they face in factory farming, “free-range” farming, and slaughter. It then invites viewers to pledge a selected number of vegan days per week.
The video is featured in the 10 Billion Lives Tour and can be shared online.
