'I E-Verify' Campaign Recognizes Employers Committed to Maintaining a Legal Workforce
Official I E-Verify Seal Now Available for Display

WASHINGTON—Employers participating in the E-Verify program can now prominently display that association by posting the official I E-Verify™ seal at their workplace.  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced the availability of the seal, part of the I E-Verify™ campaign announced by Department of Homeland Secretary (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano last November. 

The campaign highlights employers’ commitment to a culture of employer compliance by working with DHS to maintain a legal workforce and reduce unauthorized employment, and gives employers the opportunity to let the public know they are committed to protecting employment opportunities.

USCIS will provide current E-Verify enrolled participants an I E-Verify™ seal, which the participants should post in a conspicuous place (such as bulletin boards, doors, etc.).  USCIS will only grant permission to use the seal after confirmation of the participant’s status in the E-Verify program.

Participants interested in obtaining a seal must send a request to uscis.verlogo@dhs.gov. Upon confirmation of requesting employers’ status in E-Verify, USCIS will provide additional guidelines regarding the use of the seal. Use of the seal does not replace E-Verify program requirements to post both the E-Verify Participation poster and the Right-to-Work poster.
More than 229,000 participating employers in more than 794,000 worksites nationwide currently use E-Verify to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their new hires. Over 15 million verification queries have been run through E-Verify since Oct. 1, 2009, and about 96 percent of all queries are automatically confirmed as work-authorized within 24 hours or less.
