Claude Monet (1840-1926) was one of the founding members of the impressionist painting movement, and the most consistent and prolific practitioner of the movement’s philosophy. Many of his paintings are among the most popular in the world, and considered masterpieces of color and light. This note card set features two of his paintings, both from the collection of the National Gallery of Art, Washington.
