Programs
At FYSB, we offer a variety of programs and services to support the social and emotional well-being of youth and families.
Runaway and Homeless Youth
Each year, thousands of youth run away from home, are asked to leave their homes or become homeless. The Runaway and Homeless Youth Program supports street outreach, emergency shelters and longer-term transitional living and maternity group home programs to serve these young people.
Family Violence Prevention & Services
The Family Violence Prevention and Services Program administers the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA), the primary federal funding stream dedicated to the support of emergency shelter and related assistance for victims of domestic violence and their children.
Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention
To prevent pregnancy and the spread of sexually transmitted diseases, FYSB's Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program supports state, Tribal and community efforts to promote comprehensive sex education, adulthood preparation programs and abstinence education.
