What:  The Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S.
       Attorney for the Southern District of New York will
       conduct a pen and pad media briefing to announce
       accounting fraud perpetrated by Livent, Inc. senior
       management.

       A news conference for all credentialed media will follow
       the briefing.
