CPARS Training Seminar – Lackland Air Force Base, TX

Agenda: A copy of the seminar agenda is available under the “Documents you will need at the Seminar:” column at the right.
Security/Access to Training Site: Access to Lackland Air Force Base is controlled. Vehicle decals are no longer required or issued. Military members, retirees, dependents, and government civilians with a valid military ID card or Common Access Card (CAC) can access the base.
PLEASE READ! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! All visitors without a military ID card or CAC must email 770bss.omb@us.af.mil and provide name, drivers license number, state of issue, and date of birth by February 14, 2013. Visitors must stop at the base visitors' center located at the Valley Hi Gate off Highway 410 South to obtain a pass. Passes are not provided at any other gate entrance.
Foreign Nationals: Foreign nationals will not be permitted access to Lackland Air Force Base.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT)
Directions:
Arriving from San Antonio International Airport: Exit airport to Loop 410 West, follow 410 West and exit on Valley Hi. Turn left on Valley Hi and proceed approx 1 mile to Valley Hi gate. Enter through Valley-Hi gate (Truemper St). Follow straight to the first stop light (Carswell Ave) and turn left. Continue straight to the first stop sign (Femoyer St) and turn left. Follow Femoyer St and as it loops around, the 344th Training Squadron is directly ahead. Turn left into the first entrance and follow straight to the back of Bldg 10904, which is where parking is available for all attendees. Do not park in front of the building or along the side.
Arriving from the east on IH-10 or Highway 90: Follow IH-10 West to Hwy 90, Exit Valley Hi. Make a right on Valley Hi and proceed approximately 1 mile to Valley Hi gate. Enter through Valley-Hi gate (Truemper St). Follow straight to the first stop light (Carswell Ave) and turn left. Continue straight to the first stop sign (Femoyer St) and turn left. Parking: Attendees should park in the large parking area located on the North end of Bldg 10904. Once you enter through the glass doors, you can proceed straight
down the hall directly to the auditorium (Rm s007).
Seminar Cost: The CPARS seminar is open to all attendees free of charge. Attendees will only be responsible for covering the cost of their own travel.
Lunch & Refreshments: No food is permitted in the auditorium, but drinks with a lid are allowed. Water and coffee will be provided, with any donation appreciated. There are many restaurants located near the base. For attendees who choose to bring lunch, a microwave is available for use in the break room and snacks are also available for purchase in the same location. All food must be consumed outside the auditorium.
Handouts: Hard copies of the training materials will not be provided. Students are encouraged to print a copy of the training materials by clicking the links under the “Documents you will need at the Seminar:” column at the right.
