Casey Barton Behravesh, DVM, DrPH, is a Lieutenant Commander in the US Public Health Service and is currently stationed with the Outbreak Response and Prevention Branch in the Division of Foodborne,Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases, National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She works with the Outbreak Response Team to investigate outbreaks of foodborne and waterborne enteric illnesses. Casey received a DVM from the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and a Doctor of Public Health degree from the University of Texas Health Science School of Public Health, both in 2005. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventative Medicine.
