NSF-supported radar facilities allow us to probe the structure, dynamics, and cycles of the upper atmosphere and beyond. Radar installations across the United States, and others in a chain extending from the Arctic Circle to South America, serve researchers in atmospheric science, meteorology, astronomy, ecology, and more.
