United States Announces Additional Humanitarian Assistance for the Syrian Crisis

Jan. 29: President Obama announced an additional $155 million in humanitarian aid to help meet the acute needs of people inside Syria and refugees across the region. This new funding includes the $10 million announced by the delegation during their visit in Turkey. Syrian Refugees

Assistant Secretary Richard (Jan. 25): "They are not alone, they are supported by the United States and the American funding is coming through international organizations, to reach them, and to help them, and to help their compatriots.
