Harris Wofford Youth Award

The Harris Wofford Youth Award will be given to a young person (ages 5-25) who is a legal resident of the United States and demonstrates exemplary commitment and action, involving his or her peers in service, youth voice, service learning or civic engagement. Nominees' activities can be local, state, national or international.

The recipient will receive $500 for their themselves and an additional $500 to give to a nonprofit. The 2012 Harris Wofford Awards will be presented at the Youth Service Institute, October 17-19, 2012, in Houston, TX. Travel, lodging and registration is provided for the youth winner and one adult chaperone.
