Hilary Parkinson has a master’s degree in medieval studies from the University of York in England, where she learned that she loved stained glass and hagiography and disliked paleography. She is passionate about words, books, and the past. She enjoys finding, developing, and writing content for the National Archives Facebook page, Twitter, and Prologue magazine and blog.

Jim Worsham, editor of publications, came to the National Archives in 1999 after a career as an award-winning writer for daily newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune and the Boston Globe. At the Globe, he was one of the lead writers for the newspaper’s Pulitzer Prize-winning coverage of Boston school desegregation. Just before coming to NARA, he was a senior editor on Nation’s Business magazine.  He is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri and the University of Iowa and has been a National Endowment for the Humanities fellow at Stanford University. He served on active duty in the U.S. Army. Now, he enjoys writing and editing and wallowing in history.

Nikita Buley is a junior at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, where she pursues a major in Marketing and a minor in English, and where she serves as the graphics editor for the student-run newspaper The Hoya. At the National Archives, she organizes the YouTube channel, contributes various pieces of writing, and generally helps the communications and social media teams with their day-to-day operations.

Victoria Yue, managing editor of Declarations newsletter and blog, came to the Archives in July 2011 from the Windy City. She studied English and Art at the College of William & Mary and received her M.S. in Journalism from Northwestern University. Her goal is to visit all the regions and libraries in the Archives family.
