Sponsored Travel

DHHS employees are often invited to travel by other organizations to attend health related events.  Sponsoring organizations will assume the charges for some or all of travel expenses in adherence with the Federal Travel Regulations and HHS travel policy.  Sponsored Travel is permitted under the strictest of approval guidelines. 

To obtain the information regarding your sponsoring organization and to confirm that your sponsoring organization is already listed in GovTrip, contact your Federal Agency Travel Administrator (FATA).  If your sponsoring organization is already approved but not already listed in GovTrip, your FATA will take the necessary actions to ensure this information is communicated to the GovTrip team and that action is taken in a timely manner.
