NCFY Recommends: Trauma-informed Care Tip Sheets

What happens to youth who have been exposed to violence? Exposure to violence at home, in the form of child abuse and neglect, or in the community, whether at school or in the neighborhood, can affect young people in profound ways. The National Safe Start Center has developed a series of tip sheets for agencies and staff working with youth, domestic violence and homeless shelters, child welfare staff, parents, and others to help identify and serve young people impacted by trauma.
