Welcome to the Department of Justice (DOJ) Veteran's website. Information contained on this page has been selected because it may provide you with a wealth of information specific to your unique interests as a veteran. The Justice Department thanks you for your service to the country and extends an invitation to you to consider continuing your service to the federal government by applying for employment opportunities with us.
The DOJ Veterans Employment Program Office was established as a direct result of the Presidents Executive Order 13518 on November 9, 2009, entitled "Employment of Veterans in the Federal Government", which underscored to Federal agencies the importance of recruiting and training veterans, increasing the promotion of employment opportunities within the federal government to veterans of the armed forces and helping recently hired veterans adjust to service in a civilian capacity.
The DOJ Veterans Employment Program Office supports the President's Veteran hiring initiative by participating in job fairs (many of which are military specific events), hiring events, special conferences / seminars and supporting employment workshops and employer panels nation-wide. Our office also provides resume reviews and critiques at the above events.
