The map illustrates the extensive instrumentation facilities at RTS. The north-south distance in the Atoll   is approximately 50 miles; at the widest point of the instrumented area, the Atoll is approximately 15 miles. The geographic dispersion of the instrumentation sites, especially the optics, provides excellent metric triangulation results.
